Originally from an entertainment background, Nicki has worked all over the world including Asia, the Greek Islands, Europe and Australia.

After returning to NZ, Nicki worked for one of New Zealand’s top Music Promoters – touring with both local and International bands and artists such as Blondie, Norah Jones, Hayley Westenra, and Billy Connolly.

Nicki’s experience spans over 15 years, working in all aspects of the industry. Not only on the tools, Nick’s expertise is now predominantly as an adviser to the Industry, she works with the NZQA to establish the correct industry standard and teaching qualifications for Government Bodies, Makeup Schools in NZ, Beauty Brands and Industry leaders.

Her goal is to ensure today’s Artists reach the industry with the highest standard and are leading the way in current International Trends and Techniques.

Cleo brings a diverse background and a wealth of experience to her role as the Weddings Bookings Manager.

With over 10 years of experience in customer service, Cleo understands the importance of ensuring client satisfaction and goes above and beyond to meet their needs.

As the Weddings Bookings Manager, Cleo is responsible for handling all wedding booking concerns. She is dedicated to ensuring a smooth and seamless booking process for our clients, from initial inquiries to finalizing details for their special day. With her extensive background and dedication to exceptional customer service, Cleo strives to provide personalized and tailored services, ensuring that every wedding booking is handled with the utmost care and attention. Her attention to detail and organizational skills makes her a valuable asset in coordinating wedding services and ensuring client satisfaction.

Meighan’s beauty career started with working on the front desk at Serville’s Ponsonby which is where she first started working with makeup clients.

Meighan completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts at AUT and then continued to study, graduating from Samala Robinson Makeup Academy with an excellence plus in 2017. She has experience freelancing for school balls, special events and also holds Runway and Fashion photography makeup experience.

Meighan then started working with our team at The Beauty Hub in 2017 and has spent the past 4 years working in the fashion and makeup industry.

Kathline has been in the makeup and hair industry for the past 9 years.

Kathline really takes pride in her work, so each hair and makeup look is tailored to enhance your natural beauty making you feel your absolute best. Whether it’s a no makeup-makeup look with effortless curls to full on glam with Hollywood waves the choice is yours and what makes YOU feel and look fabulous.

Kathine’s experience is extensive including worked at Fashion week, and Miss Universe but her passion is in weddings and special occasion glam.

Although originally from a design background, Naeema has always been passionate about makeup and beauty and finally entered into the industry a few years ago. After completing her training at The Makeup School, she has since been specialising in Bridal work.

Having lived in different countries around the world, Naeema has been able to use her cultural experiences and language skills (speaking fluent Spanish, Hindi and Gujarati)  to help international brides and their families create a traditional experience on their wedding day.

Naeema is proficient in the cultural aspects of bridal styling such as Dupatta setting and Hijaab styling and with a keen eye for detail she always ensures nothing is out of place.

Jen is one of our senior professional hairstylists & makeup artists. She has a vast dedicated experience working on weddings, special occasions, corporate/school balls, and studio work/photoshoots, headshots, fashion and bridal shows.

Jen has a great attention to detail and a thorough personalising approach to ensure the hair and makeup is created to enhance, suit and compliment each individuals style and dress attire. 

Jens experience in freelance Hair styling and Makeup spans over 12 years. Alongside hairdressing and having acquired management experience, Jen has achieved Schwarzkopf colourist award, full qualifications in both National Hairdressing certificate and a Makeup diploma.

Earlier on in her career she was part of a salon team in Auckland. During which time she started working on weddings, which now has become the biggest part of her career. 

Jen has also worked on a regular basis in photography studios, achieving ‘camera ready looks’ covering; Glamour makeovers and assisting with wardrobe, followed by doing 1950s pin up style/vintage.

Binta is a professional makeup artist with a passion for enhancing natural beauty. With over 7 years of experience in the industry, she have honed her skills and developed a keen eye for detail.

After graduating in fashion design, she realized her true calling. She decided to pursue her passion and became a makeup tutor, sharing her knowledge and expertise with aspiring artists. This experience allowed her to further refine her techniques and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and products.

Since then, she has worked with clients from a wide variety of different cultures, and in many areas of the industry including fashion shoots, weddings, special events, and editorial projects. Her goal is to create a flawless look that not only enhance her clients’ features but also makes them feel confident and beautiful.

Sharon has 15+ years experience as a Makeup Artist in all areas of the industry. Sharon has had a wide range of experience from Runway work, Magazine work and being a Makeup Tutor at Samala Robinson Academy to then living and owning her own bridal hair and makeup business in the Fiji islands for international brides.

Sharon loves interacting with her clients and loves experiencing and sharing any special day/events with them. She loves what she does and couldn’t see herself ever doing anything else.

Lisette has over 18 years experience in all aspects of the Makeup Industry. She began her career in television working for the TV3 makeup department, later going on to freelance for Shortland Street both in studio and on location.

She has worked as a freelancer for Fashion Quarterly, Girlfriend, New Idea, Pulp and Cleo magazine, and with photographers on both commercial advertising and domestic assignments.

As one of our makeup artistry educators, Lisette has experience in tutoring makeup artistry firstly with Yves Saint Laurent on their national travelling team and later as Beauty and Bridal tutor with Samala Robinson Makeup Academy, where she prepared emerging artists for the industry and also ran school holiday programmes for teenagers.

As a Senior Tutor, Lisette has acquired her adult teaching and assessment qualifications supported by NZQA, and is responsible for delivering tutoring at a corporate level on Hair and Makeup and personal/company branding to our larger clients such as Air New Zealand.

Lisette has been part of the Beauty Hub team for more than 6 years working on a range of assignments for all age groups and areas of the industry.
